The LIFE Haya – Hardwood For The Home<\/strong> project aims to improve the climate change mitigation capacity of beech forests<\/strong> in Spain through a forestry model based on CLOSE TO NATURE FORESTRY.<\/strong> It will focus on climate change adaptation and the promotion of biodiversity in 10 demonstration stands in 4 regions of Spain<\/strong> (Castilla y Le\u00f3n, La Rioja, Navarra and Basque Country), generating 250 tonnes of wood used for innovative products and the construction of a sustainable<\/strong> pilot building based on the \u2018Hayabitat<\/em>\u2019 construction system with PEFC, \u2018Passivhaus<\/em>\u2019 and LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) certification under the Level<\/em>(s) framework. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
