PEFC Spain presented the LIFE HAYA project and promoted sustainable forest management during the \u201cForestry Week\u201d at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.<\/h2>\n\n

PEFC Spain, as a partner of the LIFE HAYA project, participated in the \n Forestry Week<\/em>\n<\/strong> organised by the School of Forestry, Forestry and Natural Environment Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). During the event, the technical team of sustainable forest management of PEFC Spain informed undergraduate and master students about the project, both at its stand and in a talk held in the auditorium. <\/p>\n\n

The lecture, given within the \u2018World of Work<\/em>\u2019 block, addressed key concepts related to sustainable forest management, forest certification and chain of custody processes. The activities carried out in the framework of LIFE HAYA were also explained. <\/p>\n\n

\n Forestry Week<\/em>\n<\/strong> is an annual event that brings together students, professionals and companies from the forestry, environmental and energy sectors at UPM. For five days, attendees can participate in talks, workshops and practical activities to learn about the latest trends in the sector and strengthen their professional connections. <\/p>\n\n
