The Catalonia Institute of Construction Technology (ITeC), a partner in the European LIFE HAYA<\/strong> project, played a prominent role at Construmat 2025<\/strong>, one of Spain’s most important construction industry trade fairs, focusing on sustainability <\/strong>and the industrialisation of construction processes<\/strong>, which was held on 20, 21 and 22 May in Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n

During the three days of the event, ITeC had an information stand<\/strong> where it presented its work on various European projects related to sustainability in construction, including the LIFE HAYA (Hardwood For the Home)<\/strong> project. An informative digital brochure<\/strong> was distributed at the stand, allowing attendees to learn about the project’s objectives, progress and environmental benefits<\/strong> in an accessible way. <\/p>\n\n

A trade fair with a sustainable focus<\/h2>\n\n

Construmat <\/strong>has established itself as an essential event for professionals in the field of sustainable construction,<\/strong> innovation and urban transformation. At this year’s edition, ITeC not only provided informational materials, but also organised a series of presentations and technical conferences <\/strong>in which members of different departments of the institution participated, such as the Product Quality Department<\/strong>, the Sustainable Construction Department<\/strong> and the Innovation Department<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The audience, made up of industry professionals, construction companies, influencers and key players in the domestic market, had the opportunity to interact directly with ITeC experts, creating a space for knowledge sharing and reflection on the role of sustainable construction in the fight against climate change.<\/p>\n\n
